Directions to Maggie Valley from All Points

Maggie Valley is one of the most popular places in western North Carolina to visit. However, it is a rather difficult place to get to because of how rural the place is. It helps to follow the proper directions to Maggie Valley from various different directions.

This is especially important because Maggie Valley does not have too many roads that move directly through the area.

From the east there are different routes that can be taken. For all routes I-40 will be involved. At one point on this route the visitor will need to travel from I-40 West to US-74 West and then onto US-19 West. When traveling to Maggie Valley from Charlotte the visitor can go north on I-77 and then west on I-40. Another option from Charlotte is to travel on I-85 South and then towards I-26 West. This will lead the visitor to I-40 and then to US-74 and US-19.

It only takes about an hour to get to Maggie Valley from Asheville on the east. When traveling from Asheville it is best to follow I-40 to the west and then merge onto US-74 and US-19. This same principle should be used for other North Carolina points along I-40 including Winston-Salem, Greensboro, Durham, Raleigh and Wilmington.

Getting to Maggie Valley from the south takes a few steps. When traveling from Atlanta I-85 North can be taken all the way up to George Route 365 North. US-23 North can then be used all the way up to US-276 North right outside of Maggie Valley.

From the west Maggie Valley and other parts of western North Carolina can be reached through I-40. I-40 East can be used from Nashville with a short ten-mile detour through I-640 East. The same can be done from Knoxville. From both cities the driver will need to end the trip on US-276 South and US-19 East. This is the opposite direction of what is used from points east.

When getting to Maggie Valley from Chattanooga the visitor will need to start on I-75 North and then move onto US-74 East. US-441 North and US-19 East will be used at the end.

Finally, Maggie Valley and other parts of western North Carolina can be reached from the north through moving on I-75 South onto I-40 East when traveling from Kentucky. I-26 South can be used followed by I-40 West from Johnson City.

It helps to use these directions to Maggie Valley when looking to get into this part of western North Carolina. Maggie Valley is rural in terms of its location but it can be reached through various major highways. These helpful routes make it a more accessible place for people from various nearby areas.
